And there went³²¹² a man³⁷⁶ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of Levi,³⁸⁷⁸ and took³⁹⁴⁷ to wife a daughter¹³²³ of Levi.³⁸⁷⁸

Exodus 6:20

And the woman⁸⁰² conceived,²⁰²⁹ and bare³²⁰⁵ a son:¹¹²¹ and when she saw⁷²⁰⁰ him that he was a goodly²⁸⁹⁶ child, she hid⁶⁸⁴⁵ him three⁷⁹⁶⁹ months.³³⁹¹

And when she could³²⁰¹ not longer⁵⁷⁵⁰ hide⁶⁸⁴⁵ him, she took³⁹⁴⁷ for him an ark⁸³⁹² of bulrushes,¹⁵⁷³ and daubed²⁵⁶⁰ it with slime²⁵⁶⁴ and with pitch,²²⁰³ and put⁷⁷⁶⁰ the child³²⁰⁶ therein; and she laid⁷⁷⁶⁰ it in the flags⁵⁴⁸⁸ by the river's²⁹⁷⁵ brink.⁸¹⁹³

And his sister²⁶⁹ stood³³²⁰ afar off,⁷³⁵⁰ to wit³⁰⁴⁵ what would be done⁶²¹³ to him.

And the daughter¹³²³ of Pharaoh⁶⁵⁴⁷ came down³³⁸¹ to wash⁷³⁶⁴ herself at the river;²⁹⁷⁵ and her maidens⁵²⁹¹ walked¹⁹⁸⁰ along by the river's²⁹⁷⁵ side;³⁰²⁷ and when she saw⁷²⁰⁰ the ark⁸³⁹² among⁸⁴³² the flags,⁵⁴⁸⁸ she sent⁷⁹⁷¹ her maid⁵¹⁹ to fetch³⁹⁴⁷ it.

And when she had opened⁶⁶⁰⁵ it, she saw⁷²⁰⁰ the child:³²⁰⁶ and, behold, the babe⁵²⁸⁸ wept.¹⁰⁵⁸ And she had compassion²⁵⁵⁰ on him, and said,⁵⁵⁹ This is one of the Hebrews'⁵⁶⁸⁰ children.³²⁰⁶

Then said⁵⁵⁹ his sister²⁶⁹ to Pharaoh's⁶⁵⁴⁷ daughter,¹³²³ Shall I go³²¹² and call⁷¹²¹ to thee a nurse⁸⁰² of the Hebrew women,⁵⁶⁸⁰ that she may nurse³²⁴³ the child³²⁰⁶ for thee?

And Pharaoh's⁶⁵⁴⁷ daughter¹³²³ said⁵⁵⁹ to her, Go.³²¹² And the maid⁵⁹⁵⁹ went³²¹² and called⁷¹²¹ the child's³²⁰⁶ mother.⁵¹⁷

And Pharaoh's⁶⁵⁴⁷ daughter¹³²³ said⁵⁵⁹ unto her, Take³²¹² this child³²⁰⁶ away, and nurse³²⁴³ it for me, and I will give⁵⁴¹⁴ thee thy wages.⁷⁹³⁹ And the woman⁸⁰² took³⁹⁴⁷ the child,³²⁰⁶ and nursed⁵¹³⁴ it.

And the child³²⁰⁶ grew,¹⁴³¹ and she brought⁹³⁵ him unto Pharaoh's⁶⁵⁴⁷ daughter,¹³²³ and he became her son.¹¹²¹ And she called⁷¹²¹ his name⁸⁰³⁴ Moses:⁴⁸⁷² and she said,⁵⁵⁹ Because I drew⁴⁸⁷¹ him out of the water.⁴³²⁵

And it came to pass in those days,³¹¹⁷ when Moses⁴⁸⁷² was grown,¹⁴³¹ that he went out³³¹⁸ unto his brethren,²⁵¹ and looked⁷²⁰⁰ on their burdens:⁵⁴⁵⁰ and he spied⁷²⁰⁰ an Egyptian⁴⁷¹³ smiting⁵²²¹ an Hebrew,⁵⁶⁸⁰ one of his brethren.²⁵¹

Philemon 11:25

And he looked⁶⁴³⁷ this way³⁵⁴¹ and that way,³⁵⁴¹ and when he saw⁷²⁰⁰ that there was no man,³⁷⁶ he slew⁵²²¹ the Egyptian,⁴⁷¹³ and hid²⁹³⁴ him in the sand.²³⁴⁴

And when he went out³³¹⁸ the second⁸¹⁴⁵ day,³¹¹⁷ behold, two⁸¹⁴⁷ men⁵⁸² of the Hebrews⁵⁶⁸⁰ strove⁵³²⁷ together: and he said⁵⁵⁹ to him that did the wrong,⁷⁵⁶³ Wherefore smitest⁵²²¹ thou thy fellow?⁷⁴⁵³

And he said,⁵⁵⁹ Who made⁷⁷⁶⁰ thee³⁷⁶ a prince⁸²⁶⁹ and a judge⁸¹⁹⁹ over us? intendest⁵⁵⁹ thou to kill²⁰²⁶ me, as thou killedst²⁰²⁶ the Egyptian?⁴⁷¹³ And Moses⁴⁸⁷² feared,³³⁷² and said,⁵⁵⁹ Surely⁴⁰³ this thing¹⁶⁹⁷ is known.³⁰⁴⁵

Now when Pharaoh⁶⁵⁴⁷ heard⁸⁰⁸⁵ this thing,¹⁶⁹⁷ he sought¹²⁴⁵ to slay²⁰²⁶ Moses.⁴⁸⁷² But Moses⁴⁸⁷² fled¹²⁷² from the face⁶⁴⁴⁰ of Pharaoh,⁶⁵⁴⁷ and dwelt³⁴²⁷ in the land⁷⁷⁶ of Midian:⁴⁰⁸⁰ and he sat down³⁴²⁷ by a well.⁸⁷⁵

Genesis 25:2; Judges 6:2

Now the priest³⁵⁴⁸ of Midian⁴⁰⁸⁰ had seven⁷⁶⁵¹ daughters:¹³²³ and they came⁹³⁵ and drew¹⁸⁰² water, and filled⁴³⁹⁰ the troughs⁷²⁹⁸ to water⁸²⁴⁸ their father's¹ flock.⁶⁶²⁹

And the shepherds⁷⁴⁶² came⁹³⁵ and drove them away:¹⁶⁴⁴ but Moses⁴⁸⁷² stood up⁶⁹⁶⁵ and helped³⁴⁶⁷ them, and watered⁸²⁴⁸ their flock.⁶⁶²⁹

And when they came⁹³⁵ to Reuel⁷⁴⁶⁷ their father,¹ he said,⁵⁵⁹ How⁴⁰⁶⁹ is it that ye are come⁹³⁵ so soon⁴¹¹⁶ to day?³¹¹⁷

And they said,⁵⁵⁹ An Egyptian⁴⁷¹³ delivered⁵³³⁷ us out of the hand³⁰²⁷ of the shepherds,⁷⁴⁶² and also drew¹⁸⁰² water enough¹⁸⁰² for us, and watered⁸²⁴⁸ the flock.⁶⁶²⁹

And he said⁵⁵⁹ unto his daughters,¹³²³ And where is he? why is it that ye have left⁵⁸⁰⁰ the man?³⁷⁶ call⁷¹²¹ him, that he may eat³⁹⁸ bread.³⁸⁹⁹

And Moses⁴⁸⁷² was content²⁹⁷⁴ to dwell³⁴²⁷ with the man:³⁷⁶ and he gave⁵⁴¹⁴ Moses⁴⁸⁷² Zipporah⁶⁸⁵⁵ his daughter.¹³²³

And she bare³²⁰⁵ him a son,¹¹²¹ and he called⁷¹²¹ his name⁸⁰³⁴ Gershom:¹⁶⁴⁷ for he said,⁵⁵⁹ I have been a stranger¹⁶¹⁶ in a strange⁵²³⁷ land.⁷⁷⁶

And it came to pass in process¹⁹⁹² of time,³¹¹⁷ that the king⁴⁴²⁸ of Egypt⁴⁷¹⁴ died:⁴¹⁹¹ and the children¹¹²¹ of Israel³⁴⁷⁸ sighed⁵⁸⁴ by reason of⁴⁴⁸⁰ the bondage,⁵⁶⁵⁶ and they cried,²¹⁹⁹ and their cry⁷⁷⁷⁵ came up⁵⁹²⁷ unto Elohim⁴³⁰ by reason of the bondage.⁵⁶⁵⁶

And Elohim⁴³⁰ heard⁸⁰⁸⁵ their groaning,⁵⁰⁰⁹ and Elohim⁴³⁰ remembered²¹⁴² his covenant¹²⁸⁵ with Abraham,⁸⁵ with Isaac,³³²⁷ and with Jacob.³²⁹⁰

And Elohim⁴³⁰ looked⁷²⁰⁰ upon the children¹¹²¹ of Israel,³⁴⁷⁸ and Elohim⁴³⁰ had respect³⁰⁴⁵ unto them.
