And the word¹⁶⁹⁷ of Yahweh³⁰⁶⁸ came unto me, saying,⁵⁵⁹

Son¹¹²¹ of man,¹²⁰ What is the vine¹⁶¹² tree⁶⁰⁸⁶ more than any tree,⁶⁰⁸⁶ or than a branch²¹⁵⁶ which is among the trees⁶⁰⁸⁶ of the forest?³²⁹³

Shall wood⁶⁰⁸⁶ be taken³⁹⁴⁷ thereof to do⁶²¹³ any work?⁴³⁹⁹ or will men take³⁹⁴⁷ a pin³⁴⁸⁹ of it to hang⁸⁵¹⁸ any vessel³⁶²⁷ thereon?

Behold, it is cast⁵⁴¹⁴ into the fire⁷⁸⁴ for fuel;⁴⁰² the fire⁷⁸⁴ devoureth³⁹⁸ both⁸¹⁴⁷ the ends⁷⁰⁹⁸ of it, and the midst⁸⁴³² of it is burned.²⁷⁸⁷ Is it meet⁶⁷⁴³ for any work?⁴³⁹⁹

Behold, when it was whole,⁸⁵⁴⁹ it was meet⁶²¹³ for no work:⁴³⁹⁹ how much less shall it be meet⁶²¹³ yet for any work,⁴³⁹⁹ when the fire⁷⁸⁴ hath devoured³⁹⁸ it, and it is burned?²⁷⁸⁷

Therefore thus saith⁵⁵⁹ my Sovereign¹³⁶ Yahweh;³⁰⁶⁹ As the vine¹⁶¹² tree⁶⁰⁸⁶ among the trees⁶⁰⁸⁶ of the forest,³²⁹³ which I have given⁵⁴¹⁴ to the fire⁷⁸⁴ for fuel,⁴⁰² so will I give⁵⁴¹⁴ the inhabitants³⁴²⁷ of Jerusalem.³³⁸⁹

And I will set⁵⁴¹⁴ my face⁶⁴⁴⁰ against them; they shall go out³³¹⁸ from one fire,⁷⁸⁴ and another fire⁷⁸⁴ shall devour³⁹⁸ them; and ye shall know³⁰⁴⁵ that I am Yahweh,³⁰⁶⁸ when I set⁷⁷⁶⁰ my face⁶⁴⁴⁰ against them.

And I will make⁵⁴¹⁴ the land⁷⁷⁶ desolate,⁸⁰⁷⁷ because they have committed⁴⁶⁰³ a trespass,⁴⁶⁰⁴ saith⁵⁰⁰² my Sovereign¹³⁶ Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁹
