Concerning the Ammonites,¹¹²¹ thus saith⁵⁵⁹ Yahweh;³⁰⁶⁸ Hath Israel³⁴⁷⁸ no sons?¹¹²¹ hath he no heir?³⁴²³ why then doth their king⁴⁴²⁸ inherit³⁴²³ Gad,¹⁴¹⁰ and his people⁵⁹⁷¹ dwell³⁴²⁷ in his cities?⁵⁸⁹²

Therefore, behold, the days³¹¹⁷ come,⁹³⁵ saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh,³⁰⁶⁸ that I will cause an alarm⁸⁶⁴³ of war⁴⁴²¹ to be heard⁸⁰⁸⁵ in Rabbah⁷²³⁷ of the Ammonites;¹¹²¹ and it shall be a desolate⁸⁰⁷⁷ heap,⁸⁵¹⁰ and her daughters¹³²³ shall be burned³³⁴¹ with fire:⁷⁸⁴ then shall Israel³⁴⁷⁸ be heir³⁴²³ unto them that were his heirs,³⁴²³ saith⁵⁵⁹ Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁸

Howl,³²¹³ O Heshbon,²⁸⁰⁹ for Ai⁵⁸⁵⁷ is spoiled:⁷⁷⁰³ cry,⁶⁸¹⁷ ye daughters¹³²³ of Rabbah,⁷²³⁷ gird²²⁹⁶ you with sackcloth;⁸²⁴² lament,⁵⁵⁹⁴ and run to and fro⁷⁷⁵¹ by the hedges;¹⁴⁴⁸ for their king⁴⁴²⁸ shall go³²¹² into captivity,¹⁴⁷³ and his priests³⁵⁴⁸ and his princes⁸²⁶⁹ together.³¹⁶²

Wherefore gloriest¹⁹⁸⁴ thou in the valleys,⁶⁰¹⁰ thy flowing²¹⁰⁰ valley,⁶⁰¹⁰ O backsliding⁷⁷²⁸ daughter?¹³²³ that trusted⁹⁸² in her treasures,²¹⁴ saying, Who shall come⁹³⁵ unto me?

Behold, I will bring⁹³⁵ a fear⁶³⁴³ upon thee, saith⁵⁰⁰² my Sovereign¹³⁶ Yahweh³⁰⁶⁹ of hosts,⁶⁶³⁵ from all those that be about⁵⁴³⁹ thee; and ye shall be driven out⁵⁰⁸⁰ every man³⁷⁶ right forth;⁶⁴⁴⁰ and none shall gather up⁶⁹⁰⁸ him that wandereth.⁵⁰⁷⁴

And afterward³¹⁰ I will bring again⁷⁷²⁵ the captivity⁷⁶²² of the children¹¹²¹ of Ammon,⁵⁹⁸³ saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁸

Concerning Edom,¹²³ thus saith⁵⁵⁹ Yahweh³⁰⁶⁸ of hosts;⁶⁶³⁵ Is wisdom²⁴⁵¹ no more in Teman?⁸⁴⁸⁷ is counsel⁶⁰⁹⁸ perished⁶ from the prudent?⁹⁹⁵ is their wisdom²⁴⁵¹ vanished?⁵⁶²⁸

Flee⁵¹²⁷ ye, turn back,⁶⁴³⁷ dwell³⁴²⁷ deep,⁶⁰⁰⁹ O inhabitants³⁴²⁷ of Dedan;¹⁷¹⁹ for I will bring⁹³⁵ the calamity³⁴³ of Esau⁶²¹⁵ upon him, the time⁶²⁵⁶ that I will visit⁶⁴⁸⁵ him.

If grapegatherers¹²¹⁹ come⁹³⁵ to thee, would they not leave⁷⁶⁰⁴ some gleaning grapes?⁵⁹⁵⁵ if thieves¹⁵⁹⁰ by night,³⁹¹⁵ they will destroy⁷⁸⁴³ till they have enough.¹⁷⁶⁷

But I have made Esau⁶²¹⁵ bare,²⁸³⁴ I have uncovered¹⁵⁴⁰ his secret places,⁴⁵⁶⁵ and he shall not be able³²⁰¹ to hide²²⁴⁷ himself: his seed²²³³ is spoiled,⁷⁷⁰³ and his brethren,²⁵¹ and his neighbours,⁷⁹³⁴ and he is not.

Leave⁵⁸⁰⁰ thy fatherless children,³⁴⁹⁰ I will preserve them alive;²⁴²¹ and let thy widows⁴⁹⁰ trust⁹⁸² in me.

For thus saith⁵⁵⁹ Yahweh;³⁰⁶⁸ Behold, they whose judgment⁴⁹⁴¹ was not to drink⁸³⁵⁴ of the cup³⁵⁶³ have assuredly⁸³⁵⁴ drunken;⁸³⁵⁴ and art thou he that shall altogether⁵³⁵² go unpunished?⁵³⁵² thou shalt not go unpunished,⁵³⁵² but thou shalt surely⁸³⁵⁴ drink⁸³⁵⁴ of it.

For I have sworn⁷⁶⁵⁰ by myself, saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh,³⁰⁶⁸ that Bozrah¹²²⁴ shall become a desolation,⁸⁰⁴⁷ a reproach,²⁷⁸¹ a waste,²⁷²¹ and a curse;⁷⁰⁴⁵ and all the cities⁵⁸⁹² thereof shall be perpetual⁵⁷⁶⁹ wastes.²⁷²³

I have heard⁸⁰⁸⁵ a rumour⁸⁰⁵² from Yahweh,³⁰⁶⁸ and an ambassador⁶⁷³⁵ is sent⁷⁹⁷¹ unto the heathen,¹⁴⁷¹ saying, Gather ye together,⁶⁹⁰⁸ and come⁹³⁵ against her, and rise up⁶⁹⁶⁵ to the battle.⁴⁴²¹

For, lo, I will make⁵⁴¹⁴ thee small⁶⁹⁹⁶ among the heathen,¹⁴⁷¹ and despised⁹⁵⁹ among men.¹²⁰

Thy terribleness⁸⁶⁰⁶ hath deceived⁵³⁷⁷ thee, and the pride²⁰⁸⁷ of thine heart,³⁸²⁰ O thou that dwellest⁷⁹³¹ in the clefts²²⁸⁸ of the rock,⁵⁵⁵³ that holdest⁸⁶¹⁰ the height⁴⁷⁹¹ of the hill:¹³⁸⁹ though thou shouldest make thy nest⁷⁰⁶⁴ as high¹³⁶¹ as the eagle,⁵⁴⁰⁴ I will bring thee down³³⁸¹ from thence, saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁸

Also Edom¹²³ shall be a desolation:⁸⁰⁴⁷ every one that goeth⁵⁶⁷⁴ by it shall be astonished,⁸⁰⁷⁴ and shall hiss⁸³¹⁹ at all the plagues⁴³⁴⁷ thereof.

As in the overthrow⁴¹¹⁴ of Sodom⁵⁴⁶⁷ and Gomorrah⁶⁰¹⁷ and the neighbour⁷⁹³⁴ cities thereof, saith⁵⁵⁹ Yahweh,³⁰⁶⁸ no man³⁷⁶ shall abide³⁴²⁷ there, neither shall a son¹¹²¹ of man¹²⁰ dwell¹⁴⁸¹ in it.

Behold, he shall come up⁵⁹²⁷ like a lion⁷³⁸ from the swelling¹³⁴⁷ of Jordan³³⁸³ against the habitation⁵¹¹⁶ of the strong:³⁸⁶ but I will suddenly⁷²⁸⁰ make him run away⁷³²³ from her: and who is a chosen⁹⁷⁷ man, that I may appoint⁶⁴⁸⁵ over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time?³²⁵⁹ and who is that shepherd⁷⁴⁶² that will stand⁵⁹⁷⁵ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ me?

Therefore hear⁸⁰⁸⁵ the counsel⁶⁰⁹⁸ of Yahweh,³⁰⁶⁸ that he hath taken³²⁸⁹ against Edom;¹²³ and his purposes,⁴²⁸⁴ that he hath purposed²⁸⁰³ against the inhabitants³⁴²⁷ of Teman:⁸⁴⁸⁷ Surely the least⁶⁸¹⁰ of the flock⁶⁶²⁹ shall draw them out:⁵⁴⁹⁸ surely he shall make their habitations⁵¹¹⁶ desolate⁸⁰⁷⁴ with them.

The earth⁷⁷⁶ is moved⁷⁴⁹³ at the noise⁶⁹⁶³ of their fall,⁵³⁰⁷ at the cry⁶⁸¹⁸ the noise⁶⁹⁶³ thereof was heard⁸⁰⁸⁵ in the Red⁵⁴⁸⁸ sea.³²²⁰

Behold, he shall come up⁵⁹²⁷ and fly¹⁶⁷⁵ as the eagle,⁵⁴⁰⁴ and spread⁶⁵⁶⁶ his wings³⁶⁷¹ over Bozrah:¹²²⁴ and at that day³¹¹⁷ shall the heart³⁸²⁰ of the mighty men¹³⁶⁸ of Edom¹²³ be as the heart³⁸²⁰ of a woman⁸⁰² in her pangs.⁶⁸⁸⁷

Concerning Damascus.¹⁸³⁴ Hamath²⁵⁷⁴ is confounded,⁹⁵⁴ and Arpad:⁷⁷⁴ for they have heard⁸⁰⁸⁵ evil⁷⁴⁵¹ tidings:⁸⁰⁵² they are fainthearted;⁴¹²⁷ there is sorrow¹⁶⁷⁴ on the sea;³²²⁰ it cannot³⁸⁰⁸ be quiet.⁸²⁵²

Damascus¹⁸³⁴ is waxed feeble,⁷⁵⁰³ and turneth⁶⁴³⁷ herself to flee,⁵¹²⁷ and fear⁷³⁷⁴ hath seized²³⁸⁸ on her: anguish⁶⁸⁶⁹ and sorrows²²⁵⁶ have taken her,²⁷⁰ as a woman in travail.³²⁰⁵

How is the city⁵⁸⁹² of praise⁸⁴¹⁶ not left,⁵⁸⁰⁰ the city⁷¹⁵¹ of my joy!⁴⁸⁸⁵

Therefore her young men⁹⁷⁰ shall fall⁵³⁰⁷ in her streets,⁷³³⁹ and all the men⁵⁸² of war⁴⁴²¹ shall be cut off¹⁸²⁶ in that day,³¹¹⁷ saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh³⁰⁶⁸ of hosts.⁶⁶³⁵

And I will kindle³³⁴¹ a fire⁷⁸⁴ in the wall²³⁴⁶ of Damascus,¹⁸³⁴ and it shall consume³⁹⁸ the palaces⁷⁵⁹ of Benhadad.¹¹³⁰

Concerning Kedar,⁶⁹³⁸ and concerning the kingdoms⁴⁴⁶⁷ of Hazor,²⁶⁷⁴ which Nebuchadrezzar⁵⁰¹⁹ king⁴⁴²⁸ of Babylon⁸⁹⁴ shall smite,⁵²²¹ thus saith⁵⁵⁹ Yahweh;³⁰⁶⁸ Arise⁶⁹⁶⁵ ye, go up⁵⁹²⁷ to Kedar,⁶⁹³⁸ and spoil⁷⁷⁰³ the men¹¹²¹ of the east.⁶⁹²⁴

Their tents¹⁶⁸ and their flocks⁶⁶²⁹ shall they take away:³⁹⁴⁷ they shall take⁵³⁷⁵ to themselves their curtains,³⁴⁰⁷ and all their vessels,³⁶²⁷ and their camels;¹⁵⁸¹ and they shall cry⁷¹²¹ unto them, Fear⁴⁰³² is on every side.⁵⁴³⁹

Flee,⁵¹²⁷ get⁵¹¹⁰ you far³⁹⁶⁶ off, dwell³⁴²⁷ deep,⁶⁰⁰⁹ O ye inhabitants³⁴²⁷ of Hazor,²⁶⁷⁴ saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh;³⁰⁶⁸ for Nebuchadrezzar⁵⁰¹⁹ king⁴⁴²⁸ of Babylon⁸⁹⁴ hath taken counsel⁶⁰⁹⁸ against you, and hath conceived²⁸⁰³ a purpose⁴²⁸⁴ against you.

Arise,⁶⁹⁶⁵ get you up⁵⁹²⁷ unto the wealthy⁷⁹⁶¹ nation,¹⁴⁷¹ that dwelleth³⁴²⁷ without care,⁹⁸³ saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh,³⁰⁶⁸ which have neither gates¹⁸¹⁷ nor bars,¹²⁸⁰ which dwell⁷⁹³¹ alone.⁹¹⁰

And their camels¹⁵⁸¹ shall be a booty,⁹⁵⁷ and the multitude¹⁹⁹⁵ of their cattle⁴⁷³⁵ a spoil:⁷⁹⁹⁸ and I will scatter²²¹⁹ into all winds⁷³⁰⁷ them that are in the utmost⁷¹¹² corners;⁶²⁸⁵ and I will bring⁹³⁵ their calamity³⁴³ from all sides⁵⁶⁷⁶ thereof, saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁸

And Hazor²⁶⁷⁴ shall be a dwelling⁴⁵⁸³ for dragons,⁸⁵⁷⁷ and a desolation⁸⁰⁷⁷ for⁵⁷⁰⁴ ever:⁵⁷⁶⁹ there shall no man³⁷⁶ abide³⁴²⁷ there, nor any son¹¹²¹ of man¹²⁰ dwell¹⁴⁸¹ in it.

The word¹⁶⁹⁷ of Yahweh³⁰⁶⁸ that came to Jeremiah³⁴¹⁴ the prophet⁵⁰³⁰ against Elam⁵⁸⁶⁷ in the beginning⁷²²⁵ of the reign⁴⁴³⁸ of Zedekiah⁶⁶⁶⁷ king⁴⁴²⁸ of Judah,³⁰⁶³ saying,⁵⁵⁹

Thus saith⁵⁵⁹ Yahweh³⁰⁶⁸ of hosts;⁶⁶³⁵ Behold, I will break⁷⁶⁶⁵ the bow⁷¹⁹⁸ of Elam,⁵⁸⁶⁷ the chief⁷²²⁵ of their might.¹³⁶⁹

And upon Elam⁵⁸⁶⁷ will I bring⁹³⁵ the four⁷⁰² winds⁷³⁰⁷ from the four⁷⁰² quarters⁷⁰⁹⁸ of heaven,⁸⁰⁶⁴ and will scatter²²¹⁹ them toward all those winds;⁷³⁰⁷ and there shall be no nation¹⁴⁷¹ whither the outcasts⁵⁰⁸⁰ of Elam⁵⁸⁶⁷ shall not come.⁹³⁵

Revelation 7:1-3

For I will cause Elam⁵⁸⁶⁷ to be dismayed²⁸⁶⁵ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ their enemies,³⁴¹ and before⁶⁴⁴⁰ them that seek¹²⁴⁵ their life:⁵³¹⁵ and I will bring⁹³⁵ evil⁷⁴⁵¹ upon them, even my fierce²⁷⁴⁰ anger,⁶³⁹ saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh;³⁰⁶⁸ and I will send⁷⁹⁷¹ the sword²⁷¹⁹ after³¹⁰ them, till I have consumed³⁶¹⁵ them:

And I will set⁷⁷⁶⁰ my throne³⁶⁷⁸ in Elam,⁵⁸⁶⁷ and will destroy⁶ from thence the king⁴⁴²⁸ and the princes,⁸²⁶⁹ saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁸

But it shall come to pass in the latter³¹⁹ days,³¹¹⁷ that I will bring again⁷⁷²⁵ the captivity⁷⁶²² of Elam,⁵⁸⁶⁷ saith⁵⁰⁰² Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁸
