Then answered⁶⁰³⁰ Zophar⁶⁶⁹¹ the Naamathite,⁵²⁸⁴ and said,⁵⁵⁹

Should not the multitude⁷²³⁰ of words¹⁶⁹⁷ be answered?⁶⁰³⁰ and should a man³⁷⁶ full of talk⁸¹⁹³ be justified?⁶⁶⁶³

Should thy lies⁹⁰⁷ make men⁴⁹⁶² hold their peace?²⁷⁹⁰ and when thou mockest,³⁹³² shall no man make thee ashamed?³⁶³⁷

For thou hast said,⁵⁵⁹ My doctrine³⁹⁴⁸ is pure,²¹³⁴ and I am clean¹²⁴⁹ in thine eyes.⁵⁸⁶⁹

But¹⁹⁹ oh that⁵⁴¹⁴ Eloah⁴³³ would speak,¹⁶⁹⁶ and open⁶⁶⁰⁵ his lips⁸¹⁹³ against thee;

And that he would shew⁵⁰⁴⁶ thee the secrets⁸⁵⁸⁷ of wisdom,²⁴⁵¹ that they are double³⁷¹⁸ to that which is!⁸⁴⁵⁴ Know³⁰⁴⁵ therefore that Eloah⁴³³ exacteth⁵³⁸² of thee less than thine iniquity⁵⁷⁷¹ deserveth.

Canst thou by searching²⁷¹⁴ find out⁴⁶⁷² Eloah?⁴³³ canst thou find out⁴⁶⁷² the Almighty⁷⁷⁰⁶ unto perfection?⁸⁵⁰³

It is as high¹³⁶³ as heaven;⁸⁰⁶⁴ what canst thou do?⁶⁴⁶⁶ deeper⁶⁰¹³ than the grave;⁷⁵⁸⁵ what canst thou know?³⁰⁴⁵

The measure⁴⁰⁵⁵ thereof is longer⁷⁵² than the earth,⁷⁷⁶ and broader⁷³⁴² than the sea.³²²⁰

If he cut off,²⁴⁹⁸ and shut up,⁵⁴⁶² or gather together,⁶⁹⁵⁰ then who can hinder⁷⁷²⁵ him?

For he knoweth³⁰⁴⁵ vain⁷⁷²³ men:⁴⁹⁶² he seeth⁷²⁰⁰ wickedness²⁰⁵ also; will he not then consider⁹⁹⁵ it?

For vain⁵⁰¹⁴ man³⁷⁶ would be wise,³⁸²³ though man¹²⁰ be born³²⁰⁵ like a wild ass's⁶⁵⁰¹ colt.⁵⁸⁹⁵

If thou prepare³⁵⁵⁹ thine heart,³⁸²⁰ and stretch out⁶⁵⁶⁶ thine hands³⁷⁰⁹ toward him;

1 Corinthians 11:31

If iniquity²⁰⁵ be in thine hand,³⁰²⁷ put it far away,⁷³⁶⁸ and let not wickedness⁵⁷⁶⁶ dwell⁷⁹³¹ in thy tabernacles.¹⁶⁸

For then shalt thou lift up⁵³⁷⁵ thy face⁶⁴⁴⁰ without spot;³⁹⁷¹ yea, thou shalt be stedfast,³³³² and shalt not fear:³³⁷²

Because thou shalt forget⁷⁹¹¹ thy misery,⁵⁹⁹⁹ and remember²¹⁴² it as waters⁴³²⁵ that pass away:⁵⁶⁷⁴

And thine age²⁴⁶⁵ shall be clearer⁶⁹⁶⁵ than the noonday;⁶⁶⁷² thou shalt shine forth,⁵⁷⁷⁴ thou shalt be as the morning.¹²⁴²

And thou shalt be secure,⁹⁸² because there is³⁴²⁶ hope;⁸⁶¹⁵ yea, thou shalt dig²⁶⁵⁸ about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest⁷⁹⁰¹ in safety.⁹⁸³

Also thou shalt lie down,⁷²⁵⁷ and none shall make thee afraid;²⁷²⁹ yea, many⁷²²⁷ shall make suit²⁴⁷⁰ unto thee.⁶⁴⁴⁰

But the eyes⁵⁸⁶⁹ of the wicked⁷⁵⁶³ shall fail,³⁶¹⁵ and they shall not escape,⁶ and their hope⁸⁶¹⁵ shall be as the giving up⁴⁶⁴⁶ of the soul.⁵³¹⁵
