Better²⁸⁹⁶ is the poor⁷³²⁶ that walketh¹⁹⁸⁰ in his integrity,⁸⁵³⁷ than he that is perverse⁶¹⁴¹ in his lips,⁸¹⁹³ and is a fool.³⁶⁸⁴

Also, that the soul⁵³¹⁵ be without knowledge,¹⁸⁴⁷ it is not good;²⁸⁹⁶ and he that hasteth²¹³ with his feet⁷²⁷² sinneth.²³⁹⁸

The foolishness²⁰⁰ of man¹²⁰ perverteth⁵⁵⁵⁷ his way:¹⁸⁷⁰ and his heart³⁸²⁰ fretteth²¹⁹⁶ against Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁸

Wealth¹⁹⁵² maketh³²⁵⁴ many⁷²²⁷ friends;⁷⁴⁵³ but the poor¹⁸⁰⁰ is separated⁶⁵⁰⁴ from his neighbour.⁷⁴⁵³

A false⁸²⁶⁷ witness⁵⁷⁰⁷ shall not be unpunished,⁵³⁵² and he that speaketh⁶³¹⁵ lies³⁵⁷⁷ shall not escape.⁴⁴²²

Many⁷²²⁷ will intreat²⁴⁷⁰ the favour⁶⁴⁴⁰ of the prince:⁵⁰⁸¹ and every man is a friend⁷⁴⁵³ to him³⁷⁶ that giveth gifts.⁴⁹⁷⁶

All the brethren²⁵¹ of the poor⁷³²⁶ do hate⁸¹³⁰ him: how much more do his friends⁴⁸²⁸ go far⁷³⁶⁸ from him? he pursueth⁷²⁹¹ them with words,⁵⁶¹ yet they are wanting to him.

He that getteth⁷⁰⁶⁹ wisdom³⁸²⁰ loveth¹⁵⁷ his own soul:⁵³¹⁵ he that keepeth⁸¹⁰⁴ understanding⁸³⁹⁴ shall find⁴⁶⁷² good.²⁸⁹⁶

A false⁸²⁶⁷ witness⁵⁷⁰⁷ shall not be unpunished,⁵³⁵² and he that speaketh⁶³¹⁵ lies³⁵⁷⁷ shall perish.⁶

Delight⁸⁵⁸⁸ is not seemly⁵⁰⁰⁰ for a fool;³⁶⁸⁴ much less for a servant⁵⁶⁵⁰ to have rule⁴⁹¹⁰ over princes.⁸²⁶⁹

The discretion⁷⁹²² of a man¹²⁰ deferreth⁷⁴⁸ his anger;⁶³⁹ and it is his glory⁸⁵⁹⁷ to pass⁵⁶⁷⁴ over a transgression.⁶⁵⁸⁸

The king's⁴⁴²⁸ wrath²¹⁹⁷ is as the roaring⁵⁰⁹⁹ of a lion;³⁷¹⁵ but his favour⁷⁵²² is as dew²⁹¹⁹ upon the grass.⁶²¹²

A foolish³⁶⁸⁴ son¹¹²¹ is the calamity¹⁹⁴² of his father:¹ and the contentions⁴⁰⁷⁹ of a wife⁸⁰² are a continual²⁹⁵⁶ dropping.¹⁸¹²

House¹⁰⁰⁴ and riches¹⁹⁵² are the inheritance⁵¹⁵⁹ of fathers:¹ and a prudent⁷⁹¹⁹ wife⁸⁰² is from Yahweh.³⁰⁶⁸

Slothfulness⁶¹⁰³ casteth⁵³⁰⁷ into a deep sleep;⁸⁶³⁹ and an idle⁷⁴²³ soul⁵³¹⁵ shall suffer hunger.⁷⁴⁵⁶

He that keepeth⁸¹⁰⁴ the commandment⁴⁶⁸⁷ keepeth⁸¹⁰⁴ his own soul;⁵³¹⁵ but he that despiseth⁹⁵⁹ his ways¹⁸⁷⁰ shall die.⁴¹⁹¹

He that hath pity²⁶⁰³ upon the poor¹⁸⁰⁰ lendeth³⁸⁶⁷ unto Yahweh;³⁰⁶⁸ and that which he hath given¹⁵⁷⁶ will he pay⁷⁹⁹⁹ him again.

Chasten³²⁵⁶ thy son¹¹²¹ while there is³⁴²⁶ hope,⁸⁶¹⁵ and let not thy soul⁵³¹⁵ spare⁵³⁷⁵ for his crying.⁴¹⁹¹

Ephesians 6:4

A man of great¹⁴¹⁹ wrath²⁵³⁴ shall suffer⁵³⁷⁵ punishment:⁶⁰⁶⁶ for if thou deliver⁵³³⁷ him, yet thou must do it again.³²⁵⁴

Hear⁸⁰⁸⁵ counsel,⁶⁰⁹⁸ and receive⁶⁹⁰¹ instruction,⁴¹⁴⁸ that thou mayest be wise²⁴⁴⁹ in thy latter end.³¹⁹

The desire⁸³⁷⁸ of a man¹²⁰ is his kindness:²⁶¹⁷ and a poor⁷³²⁶ man is better²⁸⁹⁶ than³⁷⁶ a liar.³⁵⁷⁷

The fear³³⁷⁴ of Yahweh³⁰⁶⁸ tendeth to life:²⁴¹⁶ and he that hath it shall abide³⁸⁸⁵ satisfied;⁷⁶⁴⁹ he shall not be visited⁶⁴⁸⁵ with evil.⁷⁴⁵¹

A slothful⁶¹⁰² man hideth²⁹³⁴ his hand³⁰²⁷ in his bosom,⁶⁷⁴⁷ and will not so much as bring it to his mouth⁶³¹⁰ again.⁷⁷²⁵

Smite⁵²²¹ a scorner,³⁸⁸⁷ and the simple⁶⁶¹² will beware:⁶¹⁹¹ and reprove³¹⁹⁸ one that hath understanding,⁹⁹⁵ and he will understand⁹⁹⁵ knowledge.¹⁸⁴⁷

He that wasteth⁷⁷⁰³ his father,¹ and chaseth away¹²⁷² his mother,⁵¹⁷ is a son¹¹²¹ that causeth shame,⁹⁵⁴ and bringeth reproach.²⁶⁵⁹

Cease,²³⁰⁸ my son,¹¹²¹ to hear⁸⁰⁸⁵ the instruction⁴¹⁴⁸ that causeth to err⁷⁶⁸⁶ from the words⁵⁶¹ of knowledge.¹⁸⁴⁷

An evil¹¹⁰⁰ witness⁵⁷⁰⁷ scorneth³⁸⁸⁷ judgment:⁴⁹⁴¹ and the mouth⁶³¹⁰ of the wicked⁷⁵⁶³ devoureth¹¹⁰⁴ iniquity.²⁰⁵

Judgments⁸²⁰¹ are prepared³⁵⁵⁹ for scorners,³⁸⁸⁷ and stripes⁴¹¹² for the back¹⁴⁶⁰ of fools.³⁶⁸⁴
