These are also proverbs⁴⁹¹² of Solomon,⁸⁰¹⁰ which the men⁵⁸² of Hezekiah²³⁹⁶ king⁴⁴²⁸ of Judah³⁰⁶³ copied out.⁶²⁷⁵

It is the glory³⁵¹⁹ of Elohim⁴³⁰ to conceal⁵⁶⁴¹ a thing:¹⁶⁹⁷ but the honour³⁵¹⁹ of kings⁴⁴²⁸ is to search out²⁷¹³ a matter.¹⁶⁹⁷

The heaven⁸⁰⁶⁴ for height,⁷³¹² and the earth⁷⁷⁶ for depth,⁶⁰¹¹ and the heart³⁸²⁰ of kings⁴⁴²⁸ is unsearchable.³⁶⁹

Take away¹⁸⁹⁸ the dross⁵⁵⁰⁹ from the silver,³⁷⁰¹ and there shall come forth³³¹⁸ a vessel³⁶²⁷ for the finer.⁶⁸⁸⁴

Take away¹⁸⁹⁸ the wicked⁷⁵⁶³ from before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the king,⁴⁴²⁸ and his throne³⁶⁷⁸ shall be established³⁵⁵⁹ in righteousness.⁶⁶⁶⁴

Put not forth¹⁹²¹ thyself in the presence⁶⁴⁴⁰ of the king,⁴⁴²⁸ and stand⁵⁹⁷⁵ not in the place⁴⁷²⁵ of great¹⁴¹⁹ men:

Luke 14:8

For better²⁸⁹⁶ it is that it be said⁵⁵⁹ unto thee, Come up⁵⁹²⁷ hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower⁸²¹³ in the presence⁶⁴⁴⁰ of the prince⁵⁰⁸¹ whom thine eyes⁵⁸⁶⁹ have seen.⁷²⁰⁰

Go not forth³³¹⁸ hastily⁴¹¹⁸ to strive,⁷³⁷⁸ lest thou know not what to do⁶²¹³ in the end thereof,³¹⁹ when thy neighbour⁷⁴⁵³ hath put thee to shame.³⁶³⁷

Debate⁷³⁷⁸ thy cause⁷³⁷⁹ with thy neighbour⁷⁴⁵³ himself; and discover¹⁵⁴⁰ not a secret⁵⁴⁷⁵ to another:³¹²

Lest he that heareth⁸⁰⁸⁵ it put thee to shame,²⁶¹⁶ and thine infamy¹⁶⁸¹ turn not away.⁷⁷²⁵

A word¹⁶⁹⁷ fitly²¹² spoken¹⁶⁹⁶ is like apples⁸⁵⁹⁸ of gold²⁰⁹¹ in pictures⁴⁹⁰⁶ of silver.³⁷⁰¹

As an earring⁵¹⁴¹ of gold,²⁰⁹¹ and an ornament²⁴⁸¹ of fine gold,³⁸⁰⁰ so is a wise²⁴⁵⁰ reprover³¹⁹⁸ upon an obedient⁸⁰⁸⁵ ear.²⁴¹

As the cold⁶⁷⁹³ of snow⁷⁹⁵⁰ in the time³¹¹⁷ of harvest,⁷¹⁰⁵ so is a faithful⁵³⁹ messenger⁶⁷³⁵ to them that send⁷⁹⁷¹ him: for he refresheth⁷⁷²⁵ the soul⁵³¹⁵ of his masters.¹¹³

Whoso³⁷⁶ boasteth¹⁹⁸⁴ himself of a false⁸²⁶⁷ gift⁴⁹⁹¹ is like clouds⁵³⁸⁷ and wind⁷³⁰⁷ without rain.¹⁶⁵³

By long⁷⁵³ forbearing⁶³⁹ is a prince⁷¹⁰¹ persuaded,⁶⁶⁰¹ and a soft⁷³⁹⁰ tongue³⁹⁵⁶ breaketh⁷⁶⁶⁵ the bone.¹⁶³⁴

Hast thou found⁴⁶⁷² honey?¹⁷⁰⁶ eat³⁹⁸ so much as is sufficient¹⁷⁶⁷ for thee, lest thou be filled⁷⁶⁴⁶ therewith, and vomit⁶⁹⁵⁸ it.

Withdraw³³⁶⁵ thy foot⁷²⁷² from thy neighbour's⁷⁴⁵³ house;¹⁰⁰⁴ lest he be weary⁷⁶⁴⁶ of thee, and so hate⁸¹³⁰ thee.

A man³⁷⁶ that beareth⁶⁰³⁰ false⁸²⁶⁷ witness⁵⁷⁰⁷ against his neighbour⁷⁴⁵³ is a maul,⁴⁶⁵⁰ and a sword,²⁷¹⁹ and a sharp⁸¹⁵⁰ arrow.²⁶⁷¹

Confidence⁴⁰⁰⁹ in an unfaithful man⁸⁹⁸ in time³¹¹⁷ of trouble⁶⁸⁶⁹ is like a broken⁷⁴⁶⁵ tooth,⁸¹²⁷ and a foot⁷²⁷² out of joint.⁴¹⁵⁴

As he that taketh away⁵⁷¹⁰ a garment⁸⁹⁹ in cold⁷¹³⁵ weather,³¹¹⁷ and as vinegar²⁵⁵⁸ upon nitre,⁵⁴²⁷ so is he that singeth⁷⁸⁹¹ songs⁷⁸⁹² to an heavy⁷⁴⁵¹ heart.³⁸²⁰

If thine enemy⁸¹³⁰ be hungry,⁷⁴⁵⁷ give him bread³⁸⁹⁹ to eat;³⁹⁸ and if he be thirsty,⁶⁷⁷¹ give him water⁴³²⁵ to drink:⁸²⁴⁸

Romans 12:20-21

For thou shalt heap²⁸⁴⁶ coals of fire¹⁵¹³ upon his head,⁷²¹⁸ and Yahweh³⁰⁶⁸ shall reward⁷⁹⁹⁹ thee.

The north⁶⁸²⁸ wind⁷³⁰⁷ driveth away²³⁴² rain:¹⁶⁵³ so doth an angry²¹⁹⁴ countenance⁶⁴⁴⁰ a backbiting⁵⁶⁴³ tongue.³⁹⁵⁶

Psalms 15:3

It is better²⁸⁹⁶ to dwell³⁴²⁷ in the corner⁶⁴³⁸ of the housetop,¹⁴⁰⁶ than with a brawling⁴⁰⁷⁹ woman⁸⁰² and in a wide²²⁶⁷ house.¹⁰⁰⁴

Proverbs 21:9

As cold⁷¹¹⁹ waters⁴³²⁵ to a thirsty⁵⁸⁸⁹ soul,⁵³¹⁵ so is good²⁸⁹⁶ news⁸⁰⁵² from a far⁴⁸⁰¹ country.⁷⁷⁶

A righteous⁶⁶⁶² man falling down⁴¹³¹ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ the wicked⁷⁵⁶³ is as a troubled⁷⁵¹⁵ fountain,⁴⁵⁹⁹ and a corrupt⁷⁸⁴³ spring.⁴⁷²⁶

It is not good²⁸⁹⁶ to eat³⁹⁸ much⁷²³⁵ honey:¹⁷⁰⁶ so for men to search²⁷¹⁴ their own glory³⁵¹⁹ is not glory.³⁵¹⁹

He³⁷⁶ that hath no rule⁴⁶²³ over his own spirit⁷³⁰⁷ is like a city⁵⁸⁹² that is broken down,⁶⁵⁵⁵ and without walls.²³⁴⁶
